03 – JC Studio

Mojácar

In a privileged location overlooking the coast of eastern Andalucia, a bioclimatic building is planned for use as a studio apartment, with a programme for 1 or 2 people.

In the absence of architectural references, a work of simple forms is proposed, where the need for climatic adaptation due to the rigorous summer heat gives rise to shaded spaces and mixed indoor-outdoor living spaces. The views are spectacular, and the façade responds to this situation with maximum transparency.

There are no neighbours, which also reduces the need for visual privacy barriers.
