HISPANIA Arcis Building

It is one of the 5 buildings to be reformed in Hispania competition. To provide a new image the proposal is based in three main actions: change the access from the street, the facade and the main lobby.

The central part will be hided by a permeable element that hints what is happening in the interior but without blocking the airway and light. This skin comes down through the floor and closes the building during the night. The access is expanded until the door limits so that we can come in directly.

In the lobby, the floor covering is replaced by a carpet that surrounds the space, envelops the elevators and dresses the ceiling, behind the  recepcion desk a warm wood floods the space. Cilindrical lamps are lowered in different heights and envelops the central column.
