Refurbishment of a semi-detached house in a listed neighbourhood of Madrid. The exterior of the house is protected, which was decisive to project a distribution according to the existing holes in the facade. The complexity of the project lay in the tight surface available on the first and second floors, where the program of the bedrooms, bathrooms and dressing room would be located.

The result is a home where the daytime area occupies the entire ground floor, spacious and open, being the kitchen space the link between the indoor and outdoor living areas. On the upper floors, by placing the staircase to one side, spacious private rooms are obtained. The attic space on the top floor was resolved by reusing part of the existing furniture. Storage areas and facilities were brought to the basement, where it was possible to include a guest room with a bathroom.
