Rehabilitation proposal for the creation of temporary housing in Las Ventas, Madrid.

Competition for a building for rental housing for companies. These are apartments of different sizes for users who move out of their city for work reasons, with or without family, for variable periods of time, or who do not want the cold of a hotel room. There is a need to give the communal areas a broader meaning than in a traditional residential building. There is space for socialising and meeting people, common areas for eating and working, and even for meeting and socialising with other users in a similar situation. The visual permeability of the façade, through a grid and a translucent envelope, aims to present a homogeneous and permanent figure during the day and a dynamic one at night. In this way, the building takes on a different character with each new tenant.
