HISPANIA Talos Building

It is one of the 5 buildings to be reformed in Hispania competition. The proposal consists in two measures: improving access and the facade.

Facade ornaments and the cylinder are removed, the framework edges are coppered of aluminium plate skin. To unify the action of the exterior with the interior, the same material is used generating a continuous surface.

The stair is reorganiced to acceed in a natural way  and we look for transparency replacing the existing lock with sliding doors. In the inner space, the lobby is covered with the same elements of the facade interlaced, with warm tones and indirect light to enhance the volumn. The pavement is changed, and place carpet in the central part to walk through the freestanding part of the reception desk.
